Ministering in a Muslim Context Online Course
Islam is the second largest religion in the world. Knowing this should intensify our call to make disciples of all nations. But first we need a strategy—a solid one that will help us effectively serve the Muslim community that is increasing around us. We need to understand this growing religion of Islam. We need to learn what they know. We need a biblical and strategic framework from which to offer the gospel message. Ministering in a Muslim Context is an online course designed to provide an accurate understanding of the worldview and practices of Muslims around the globe. These new insights will result in a framework to confidently, effectively, and lovingly minister the gospel to the Muslim heart and mind. This course can help you understand points of agreement and conflict between Christian and Islamic doctrine, attain practical ways to care for Muslims’ needs and share the gospel, gain insights into Islamic spirituality, and explore Muslim barriers of family, identity, and education.
Ministering in a Muslim Context consists of a one-week course orientation followed by 5 weeks of learning material. The course is interactive; you will have ample opportunity to interact with your course facilitator and other learners as you complete and turn in projects and discuss applicable topics in online forums.
