Building Christ centered Friendships with Muslims is a 15-day course based on the Journey to Jesus curriculum along with additional material.  The topics covered in this course are:

  • Hosting Muslims in Your Home
  • Understanding the Basic Beliefs of Muslims
  • Sharing Christ with Different Types of Muslims
  • Encountering Muslim Objections to Christianity
  • Sharing Christ with Muslims Using Apologetics
  • Develop a Plan for You and Your Church to Engage Muslims in Your Community

Is this Course for Me?

This course is for those who are living in a context where Muslims are in the minority.  If you are in such a context and you desire to reach your Muslim neighbor, or help your church engage the mosque or community center in your area, then this course is for you.

The course creator has almost two decades of ministering among Muslims in the United States.  He is also one of the authors of the Journey to Jesus curriculum that is used in the course.

When will I need to schedule my participation in the course?  What time of day?

Grow2Serve online courses are built with a worldwide audience in mind.  We anticipate that every time this course is offered that the learners will be spread all over the world in many time zones.  Therefore, the course is designed to very sparingly use time-anchored activities such as video conferencing (Zoom, webinars, etc.)  Instead, the course is built to allow you to participate every day with daily required items that are due, while allowing you the choice to complete your activities any time within the 24-hour window that you choose. This allows you the freedom to continue your regular ministry responsibilities while participating in this 15-day course.

Please note that ideally, for maximum learning impact, a learner in this course will spend 60-90 minutes daily (Monday – Friday) working on the course material. Some of the coursework will involve reading, writing, listening and viewing videos on the computer. Other pieces will involve interacting with other learners and engaging with your team or people in your community while practicing the skills you are learning.
