Marriage faces unique challenges when transplanted into a new context for life and ministry. The exercise will help you take stock of how you are doing with routines, habits and outlets which help you feel as if you have a balanced life.

Participation in the Marriage Remade course will provide you not only all of the content that you find available for free on this site, but also encouragement and accountability from a course facilitator and a strong reinforcement of attaching deep personal meaning to what you are learning through interaction with peers who are in a similar stage of ministry as you.

Resource Description

Activity

Alexis Kenny in her book, Married in Mission, has collected many exercises that can be used for missionary couples to grow in their marriage. The I-Star and We-Star exercises are adapted from Julie Lupien’s “Self-Care Stars” which were presented at a Mission to Mission Workshop in 2014. The exercise will help you take stock of how you are doing with routines, habits and outlets which help you feel as if you have a balanced life.
